Ridiculous to say this but we could do with some rain..We had a bit overnight but..
Chepstow was too quick for Donnie Brasco. Mat and Ciaran Gethings walked the course before the first and felt it was almost good to firm in places..
It was fast enough at Ludlow too. Aliandy stepped at a hurdle and fell.. something he has not done before while El Presente was never really happy on the track or perhaps the ground.. He finished 3rd.
The drive to Ludlow is a beautiful one, but not one for a hurry on.. The hedges are not going green as quickly as usual and the dust from the harrow on the fields told you all you needed to know.
