Plus 2 when waking this morning, a good frost out there, Spring is definitely on it's way.

So for the final time, yesterday Queenohearts looked fantastic and ran well for a long way. She seemed all over the winner when turning into the straight but then didn’t find a lot off the bridle.

Today is no different, it's another busy day for Team Thorndale with David and Ciaran in to work and school a few.

We had a couple of visitors this morning...

Lord and Lady Dulverton were here second lot to see their horses.

Ernie Gaskin was here to see his KBRS horse Mikhailovich

John Benson was also here to see his KBRS horses Phantom Getaway and Parc d'Amour

Nicola and Robert Baillie came to see their KBRS horses Magical Escape, Mikailovich and Tantoli

We have the one runner today with Lady of the Night at Chepstow and Getaweapon at Fontwell on Sunday, a weekend racing for owner John Perriss, for our thoughts on their chances Click Here

I welcomed a visit from Peter McNeile who needed to borrow some equipment in preparation for the Andoversford point-to-point on the 3rd April. I am always happy to see Peter and help him where I can as he along with Rebecca Davies were the people who gave me a job when I first left racing, taking me on with no previous experience as a secretary/PA when working at Cheltenham Racecourse. I still remember the interview when Peter asked how many words I could type per minute, I cannot remember the exact number I provided but the surprised look on his face confirmed that I had over exaggerated. He then gave me his laptop to prove it..... safe to say I failed with a very embarrassed face, but I still got the job though!

Plenty of pictures taken yesterday in the sun and as that's my favourite part of blogging you have got plenty today.

Just to close off a magical two weeks of blogging for you, in summary....

I don't think I managed to teach anyone about social media hashtags, more so the opposite in adding to the confusion for our readers. I am still waiting on the birthday certificate from Patricia Ruck Keene but hopefully that will come through this week to share.

My car was fixed and then broke again and no it's still not fixed. We had four winners and a second in a Grade 1 (can't help but mention Two for Gold again), myself and Matt didn't have one argument, no staff resigned and we survived three storms.

Normal service resumes Monday.....enjoy the weekend
