Frost needed scraping off my windscreen for the first time this winter.

With the clocks going back tonight winter is on the way.

David Bass was in this morning to ride out.

We worked plenty and jumped Alfies Choice, Biscuit, Dandy Dan, Rhaegar, Blazon, Milord and Glenforde

Matt Lambert was with us first lot to see his horses Cascaye, Trojan Star and Carqalin.

Frank Jackson, Tim and Sue Winzer, Trevor and Carol Tolley, Cate and Christopher Jolliffe were here second lot as booked through CD Tours.

Also second lot Mike Kay, Colin Mather, Ian Beverley, Jenny Swainson, Brendon Doyle, Nicola Mercer were here to see their horse Glenforde

John Benson was here third lot to see his KBRP horses Chateau Robin, Our Belle Amie, Silver Kayf and Vinndication and Geoff Irving was also here to see Vinndication.

It was good to be back at Cheltenham yesterday and although we had no runners we do have two today. Sonneofpresenting and Mon Palois both go there today and tomorrow we run Red River at Wincanton. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.

Can history be made in the Racing Post Trophy this afternoon..Up at Doncaster Aidan O'Brien tries to beat the magical 25 Group 1s in a season. Currently on 25 which equals Bobby Frankels record; one more Group 1 would set a new record which will take some beating..
