Plus 2 and dry when driving in. Hoping for a bit of rain?
What a fabulous days racing was watched by the Festival admirers..Many only watch the Grand National and The Boxing Day meeting at Kempton .. Tradition for many and those who tuned in yesterday watched and witnessed brilliant performances from our sport.
Constitutional Hill imperious and untouchable and The King George was a race to savour with two horses going flat out for all their worth over the last 3 fences. Bravemansgame, a monster of a horse, had the upper hand jumping the last when L’Homme Presse unshipped Charlie Deutsch. And then the bonus of Paisley Park winning..
A staggering 13th King George for Paul Nicholls.. It was epic racing and all around the country racing produced some wonderful results.. Sadly we did not as Voyburg again failed to complete after winning best turned out.
Tuesday morning and still a bank holiday.. A reminder for those driving today it is the busiest day on the road of the year.. Give yourselves plenty of time.. I have been caught out all too often on the day after Boxing Day

It is The Welsh Grand National this afternoon.The race is In Memory Of Kim Gingell.. The annual slog on bottomless ground, but not this year as the ground has missed the rain and it is likely to be on the soft side of good!
This weeks movers and shakers in the BHA handicap charts were..Bobhopeornohope up 3 to 142, Design Icon down 3 101, Getaweapon down 2, Mr Grey Sky down 2 to 121, Phantom Getaway down 4 125, The Edgar Wallace down 2 to 130 and Captain Rose enters at 100..
A doctor and a lawyer are talking at a party. Their conversation is constantly interrupted by people describing their ailments and asking the doctor for free medical advice.
After an hour of this, the exasperated doctor asks the lawyer, “What do you do to stop people from asking you for legal advice when you’re out of the office?”
“I give it to them,” replies the lawyer, “and then I send them a bill.”
The doctor is shocked but agrees to give it a try.
The next day, still feeling slightly guilty, the doctor prepares the bills. When he goes to place them in his mailbox, he finds a bill from the lawyer.
