Plus 11 and dry when driving in. Rain overnight...

I went racing at Warwick.. A fleeting visit and I mean fleeting as I was only there for 30 minutes.. Mrs B not happy that I escaped her grasp... I bumped into Dan R-W and James and Jane Way who I have not seen for ages.. Artic Saint looked for while that he was going to run well but just did not go any faster when they quickened.

Klassical Dream won the Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown for the third time.. some performance.. Another race you need to watch.

The Gambling report arrived yesterday and frankly it beats me what it really means as I am not a gambler.. I hear one side from Matt Chapman and the others from the Racing Post.

The worry is that more punters will go underground and gamble on unregulated sites and god help them when things go wrong..I am sure I will be brought up to date by those in the know.. At least the Government has admitted that he appreciates Racing as an industry?

I have been asked to supply a list of decent English sires for a new owner of a broodmare.. The GBB prizes make choosing an UK based sire very worthwhile.. although difficult.. Any suggestions welcome.. The Mare in question has a very good pedigree and a winner over 2 and 3 miles.

Goffs Sales prices at Punchestwon were predictably high and more records broken. Although many seemed to be heading to Gordon Elliott!

We had a vet in the yard as per Fridays.. Moonlighter a non Runner at Chepstow tonight..

I should be fishing today on the Wye... but sadly not!!

Carey Grant was quoted as saying. ’When people tell you how young you look they are also tell in you how old you are’

Marty Bucella said. ‘’When it comes to staying young, a mind lift beats a face lift any day!

Not sure I would ask her out again!
