Plus 8 and dry when driving in. More rain on the way..
Can it possibly get worse. No!
What an unbelievably pathetic performance last night by a load of overpaid muppets.
How on earth did England manage to stoop that low to be beaten by Iceland.
Every side /team needs leadership and a good team around that leader and our football team has none; as for the players.. who are they? At least by the time the next European Competition comes around we will not qualify. Shameful..
It is hard to believe that this time last week the country was positive and happy.. one week is a long time in all our lives and none of us will forget this last 7 days.
Tom Bellamy was in to ride out two lots this morning.
Johnny and Liz Wills called in second lot this morning to see their horse Net Work Rouge canter.
We have no runners this week so well done to Julie Greenwood for winning our in house 5 to follow competition. Julie wins a stay at our local The Wheatsheaf and a day racings with Bub Booth at Market Rasen. Two great prizes…Two upwardly mobile centers of excellence.. Next seasons competition will start in October.. It has been fun for those who have played ..
Graham Potts our vet was in for his weekly visit.
This weeks moves and shakers in the handicap charts are.. Sunblazer down 1 to 93 and 96 on the All Weather.
I am in London today attending the annual ROA lunch held at The Jumeirah Carlton Towers Hotel.. Rory Bremner is going to entertain us after lunch.. I am sure he will have plenty of new material..
On the way home I am calling into see John and Penny Perriss and all their horse out at grass..Hence I am training from Banbury..
This truckie used to play football for England..
A truckie was driving along on a country road. A sign came up that read "Low Bridge Ahead."
Before he realised it, the bridge was directly ahead and he got stuck under it ..
Cars were backed up for miles. Finally, a police car arrived.
The policeman got out of his car and walked to the lorry's cab and said to the driver, "Got stuck, eh?"
The lorry driver said, "No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of diesel!"
Smart arse..
To finish.. Happy birthday to Archie Bailey...11 today.. I am sure he will have a good one..
