Plus 7 and dry when driving in.

Back from Newmarket earlier than expected having bought a horse privately.. more later.

Bangor would not have been much fun if owners had been allowed.. Firstly they would not have been allowed inside and secondly it rained for most of the day.. No hiding place.

Sea Story is being retired from racing after pulling up yesterday.. She broke blood vessels last year… A lovely mare who won 2 bumpers for us, but now she will find a new home away from racing.. Mrs B, who is brilliant at rehoming our friends, will I am sure find a very suitable home for her.

Very sad for John and Susie Kottler and their daughter Emma Buchanan who bred her.....We have had some fun days out together and I will miss then.. roll on the next one..

Java Point travelled well until 3 from home and then was found out by the ground. He will be a different horse next time..

David Bass, Ciaran Gething, Harry Beswick and Chester Williams in this morning.

As you know Maddie was going to be blogging today as I thought I would still be in Newmarket.. Maddie had already prepared todays blog menu..this part was ready for today..so over to Maddie..

Wednesday is our work day, so my morning are spent editing videos which Peter Kerr kindly records, I am not a fan of visiting the gallops in the rain. First Lot, Second Lot, Third Lot

These videos are so well recieved by our owners as with current restrictions some are unable to visit the yard or even attend racing when their horses run, especially when they run in Wales like our horses did yesterday.

All our videos are uploaded onto our UTube channel which you can follow here

John and Mandy Battershall were here third lot to see their KBRS horses Lord Apparelli, Hendra House and Younevercall

Nick and Shan Cook were also here third lot to see their KBRS horses Balleticon, Hendra House and Younevercall.

Graham (Griff) Griffiths called in to see his KBRS horse by Norse Dancer..

Robert Baillie was here late morning for a first visit to Thorndale..

I received lots of requests to recieve a copy of our new season Horses in Training brochure yesterday but you can also download a copy here. Make sure you check out the pages at the back which has our 'Horses For Sale', two of which only have one share remaining so act quickly if you'd like to be involved.

Back to today, we run Drumreagh and Rose to Fame at Taunton and for our thoughts on their chances click here

No joke from me, but another good foodie recommendation and that is The Cellar in Stow, a new wine bar which opened about a month ago. A great place with lovely wine, charcuterie and cheese boards.

Thanks Maddie..
