Plus 6 and very wet when driving in.

It was certainly damp at Hereford yesterday, but that did not stop Those Tiger Feet confirming home promise when taking the bumper.

His win was hugely popular with his very excited and lucky owner Phil Andrews, whose only other horse to have run this season in his colours is Dandy Dan..Phil has invested heavily in to Thorndale, so it was good to see this youngster come good on his first racecourse appearance.

Our other runner yesterday Gallows Point really needs to learn his job.. he will, but it could well take another couple of runs for this huge horse to understand what life is meant to be all about.

Yesterday was my first visit to Hereford Racecourse for a while.. It is time they improved their owners and trainers facility..

The current shack is far too small, especially when like yesterday it was heaving when the weather turned inclement… Food good.. nowhere to sit, or rather limited areas, and squashed like the proverbial sardine..I am sure it will improve.. needs too?

Hereford to London, GWR taking the strain. Dinner with Robert Fanshawe. Not often do I let the train take the strain but those of you who do it on a daily basis I feel sorry for you..Does the internet go down all the time?
