Plus 10 and dry when driving in.

I have to say Silver Kayf ran better than I expected yesterday when finishing 4th in his race at Chepstow.

I know he was beaten a long way but he still ran with promise.. if and when the handicapper helps.

Any chance of mowing in January was ruined by rain.

David Bass was in for two lots this morning before he and I headed to Wetherby.

We started ramping up the work load on many of the horses again this morning.

Christopher Hill, Darren Smith and Geri Worcester were here second lot to see their KBRP horses Arthurs Sixpence and Vinndication.

Ian Brotherton was here to see his KBRP horses Arthurs Sixpence, Subway Surf and Shinobi.

David and Patricia Plaza were here to see their KBRP horse the 2015 Dansant out of Was My Valentine.

What a cracking weekend of racing...

Sandown, Wetherby and Musselburgh today.. Big Cheltenham trials and then in Ireland they are holding two days of top class racing for the Dublin Racing Festival.

We have three runners over the weekend.

First Flow heads to Sandown today while Newtide heads to Wetherby.

Tomorrow we run Lots Of Luck at Taunton… For my thoughts on all their chances please click here.

Three brothers age 92, 94 and 96 live in a house together.

One night the 96 year old draws a bath, puts his foot in and pauses. He yells down the stairs, "Was I getting in or out of the bath?"

The 94 year old yells back, "I don't know, I'll come up and see." He starts up the stairs and pauses, then he yells, "Was I going up the stairs or coming down?"

The 92 year old was sitting at the kitchen table having coffee listening to his brothers. He shakes his head and says, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful."

He knocks on wood for good luck. He then yells, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door."

We all need guiding hands this weekend..

Have a good one and see you on Monday..
