Holidays over.. Yes the new 2021/2022 season starts today and for all those jockeys lucky enough to be able to get away a few days, today it is back to work as our season starts at Uttoxeter and Hexham.. As they say no rest for the wicked..
David Bass and Ciaran Gethings were in this morning.
We jumped Design Icon, Voyburg and Peaked Too Soon.
Christopher Hill was here second lot to see his KBRS horses Arthurs Sixpence, Parc D’Amour and Vinndication.
Norman Carter was here to see his horses Diamond Gait and Samatian and his KBRS horse Voyburg.
Third lot Francis and Katherine Brooke were here to see his horse El Presente and discuss plans.
Simon Edwards was here to see his KBRS horse Percy Veering and Patricia Williams was here too..
We have three runners today at Uttoxeter.. Sammeo, Dandy Dan and I Can't Explain. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.
No runners tomorrow well in fact there is no jump racing.. Instead we have our end of season Staff Party at The Royal Oak.. It should be a cracking evening and a much deserved one as my team have been brilliant this last 12 months..
