There seemed to be a lot hitting the headlines in Australia yesterday with horses being taken out of the Melborne Cup and jockeys hitting out on social media.  

A rather quiet day in the office for me today, no owners visiting but I will be keeping myself busy getting ready for the boss' return. 

Slightly late to the party but The Hollow Bottom Pub has reopened after a short closure, now under the management of the Lucky Onion group who owns The Wheatsheaf and 131 to name a few. I haven't managed to get myself down there yet to try it but have heard some good things. 

The article by the racing post refers to the party which was held there after NTD had a treble on the final day of Cheltenham, taking the gold cup, foxhunters and grand annual chases. A well remembered day as I looked after Baby Run who won the foxhunters!
