SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER 2018
A great month at Thorndale with the new gallop being completed and a few good runners!
Royal Supremo kicked us off with an impressive 16 length victory at Southwell and Blazon followed up with a third on the same day. Net Work Rouge came back to form finishing second to a well handicapped horse at Bangor on Dee and those were the only three runners we had this month.
Nearly all of our horses are back in for the season and we have welcomed over 20 owners who have visited the horses following their summer breaks.
Ready, Set, Action
If you are a reader of the Kim Bailey Blog you will have noticed I mentioned Marketing in quite a few of them. We have been busy redesigning our new Horses in Training Brochure for 2018-2019 season with help from Wilderspin Marketing. Images have needed to be updated and we welcomed The Cotswold Film Company here to help produce a few aerial shots of the yard, a promotional video will also be released.
I seem to have spent a lot of time infront of a camera this month, with the marketing team from Cheltenham Racecourse also producing a short film to promote their new syndicate, for which I am training Hes No Trouble for.
It's all in a name
Naming a new horse is one of the exciting parts of becoming an owner and no matter how many horses you own or are part of, there are always some interesting suggestions put in the pot.
A few of the youngsters which were purchased from sales this year have now been named by their owners, it's safe to say that some of the first name requests were not accepted by the BHA!
I do hope you have enjoyed catching up on our news; don't forget we would love to have you involved in the yard if you are not already; we are just a phone call away.
All the best
