Well done to John Perriss, David Bass and Emily Gray.. You all won at Fontwell yesterday…

Fontwell Racecourse.. the jewel in Sussex’s jumping tracks has definitely been on a PR exercise as yesterday their owners and trainers facility had a new food area and very friendly and helpful staff.. Both were brilliant.. Well done; little things go a long way and what we saw yesterday was a fine example of making the owners experience far more enjoyable than it used to be. Take note Wetherby..

Anyway, praise heaped on the racecourse, now for the racehorse.

Emily Gray was good.. she jumped well on the whole, and was given another positive ride by David Bass who was making it 5 wins from his last 11 rides for us.  Yes and 4 winners this week for us.

Great for John Perriss, who has leased EG from Timmy Hyde; John was able to watch from his hospital bed.. Blood pressure, pulse and heart rate monitors were left off until well after the race..

Not such good news was the fact that Faerie Reel hated the course and pulled up.. sorry Fontwell but FR will not be returning.

Plenty worked this morning and with no runners today we can sit back and watch.. We do have a runner at Ffos Las tomorrow where Mat and Mollys A Diva look like heading; weather permitting.. Mat, understandably, really enjoys going to Ffos Las.
