Plus 14 and dry when driving in.

Yesterday really was a scorcher.. Apparently it was 30 degrees in Tewkesbury..

David Bass and Ciaran Gethings were in this morning to ride out.

We have now started to increase many of the horses work load and with that in mind we will start doing our Wednesday work videos from next week..

Sorry that we are not starting earlier but Maddie is very wrapped up in this coming weekends 'owners open day'.. and she is going on holiday to Cornwall later this week. Things to pack!

Great to see Vince Burmingham back in the yard.. It has been 18 months since his last visit.. Vince runs the award winning Hendra House which explains why he has not been to see us before.

Anyway Vince was here to see his KBRS horses Hendra House, Subway Surf and Does He Know.

Plenty of emails about yesterdays blog.. Yes I know it was an European win in the Solheim Cup not Brit one.. but it looked better after loosing the cricket to have something more positive to talk about.

Talking positive things to write about .. sadly not in the case when mentioning Not In The Doghouse.. In the Doghouse as I call them.. anyway they have predictably not refunded my money having asked them for it several times.. It seems to be a very common complaint judging by the number of shocking reviews on Trust Pilot..

Relief to use Pets Corner..slightly better reviews to say the least..

Further racing news.. Rupert Arnold the boss of the National Trainers Federation is stepping down after 21 years..
