Plus 6 and dry when driving in.. It was certainly wet here yesterday..

Yesterdays racing ended with a winner..

Heroes De Romay won the bumper at Exeter in tenacious style.. It was great ride from David Bass, who so nearly fell off when he bronked through the first 200 yards of the race.. Talk about being green, Heroes was almost clueless..

He was tough and was always up there with the eventual second, and it was good to get one over Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden who were second.. This horses ownership says it all ‘’This Horse Is For Sale Partnership’.. i.e. me and Mrs B!!..

You can always call me or Peter Kerr to find out more details of this well bred horse.. Half brother to Espoir De Romay..

Our other two runners at Exeter did not fare so well.. Equus Dream and Mikhailovich both turned into the straight with place chances, but their effort petered out.

Up at Doncaster where the really was no good in the ground.. It looked awful..

Anyway Design Icon was never going to enjoy that especially after a poor start, while Magical Escape ran well to finish 5th and will now go over hurdles.. Johnny Burke who rode ME was very encouraging about his future..

Yesterday the postman delivered Rosie Vestey and John and Sue Stanley's Christmas cards.... I wonder if there will be anymore?

Nobody is infallible.. we all make mistakes even the best..

Wednesday morning.

David Bass and Ciaran Gething were in to ride out.. normally a work morning, but frankly we don’t have many to do so.

Dr David Carey and John Clarke were here third lot to see their horse Brendas Asking while Norman Carter was here to see his Samatian and his KBRS horse Voyburg.

We have no runners today..

To finish ..

A very happy birthday to my god daughter Lottie F-G.. She has her parents Martin and Kate staying with her..In Melbourne..
