Plus 3 and dry when driving in.
We had smatterings of snow here last night.
The Randox Grand National weights were announced yesterday and predictably Tiger Roll has top weight and predictably his owners brother Eddie said he was not happy and Tiger Roll's parcipitation is only 50/50.. Did he really..? Of course he will run if he is OK, otherwise why enter him.
The day sounded like it was a glittering affair and judging by various conversations I had with trainers last night a long one too.. You can watch the day here..
Talking long one.. Mrs B and I were in Bristol most of the day and late home. There was better news and that is another 6 weeks in a neck brace and that, if all goes well, will be the start of a normal life again for Clare.
David Bass was in this morning and we worked quite a few and a video will probably appear here later. - First Lot, Second Lot
Racing TV cameras were here early this morning to film Mat at work. All for his upcoming Godolphin award evening later this month.
I am away today looking at horses.. a long day in the car...

Overheard yesterday..
Our doctor’s office called to let my husband know that the results from his blood tests came back and he was just fine. That didn’t suit my husband.
“What’s my cholesterol level?” he asked.
“Mr. Crocker, you are just fine,” insisted the nurse.
“Still, I’d like you to mail me the results.”
A few days later, he received a postcard from the doctor’s office. It read, “Mr. Crocker, you are just fine!”
