Plus 8 and dry when driving in... We could be in for a warmer weekend..

There will be fewer tougher horses than Sayadam. Third yesterday under 12 stone 1 at Market Rasen ..

Sayadam is not a big horse and as his record shows he is consistent and as a result he is a victim of his own success.. by that I mean he is not going to drop in the handicap very quickly if he keeps being placed.. He has never been out of the first 4 .. He has run 9 times and won 4 and placed in the first 4 on all of his other 5 starts.

David Bass was in this morning still smarting over the fact that he received a 2 day ban for his riding of Sayadam.. I am not sure you could call it dangerous, but Henry Brooke tried to come up on his inner on the far side?!

Not that many to ride out and we have a vet here who would normally have been in yesterday.

Mat is away today watching his beloved NFFC play CFC.. Mat is a guest of Keith Ellis.. and having to drive thanks to the rail strike!! At least his liver will be relieved?

We have two runners today and two tomorrow…

Shantou Express and I Spy A Diva run today.. SE at Haydock and ISAD at Warwick.. Tomorrow we run Imperial Admiral and Gerard Mentor at Ludlow..For my thoughts please click here.

Our conditional jockey Kai Lenihan, who is just back from injury, rides SE today and GM tomorrow..
