Plus 9 and dry when driving in.
It was pretty miserable at Ascot. The Edgar Wallace ran well. He finished 4th not beaten far..
Wandrin Star ran a blinder and was beaten in a photo.. Too many photos recently! The last fence being omitted due to somebody breaking it earlier in the day probably was the difference between winning or finishing second..
It was good to see Penny Perriss’s horse run well again.. WS always runs well first time out.
Chepstow really was wet.. I Cant Explain finished 4th..
Friday night traffic home from Ascot is never normally good, but it was far better last night..
My problem on the way home was trying to ring Peter Kerr..while using voice recognition in my car..
Pressing the button and asking for Peter Kerr the big screen suddenly went mad.. All the European Pizza Huts were shown.. Bloody hell there are thousands of them..

David Bass, Ciaran Gethings and Harry Beswick were here this morning to ride out.
We worked a few and jumped a couple..
Mat and I are off racing early so owner videos will be in short supply today.. more tomorrow..
My What A Shout interview yesterday.. It was done on my phone as I failed to make it work on my computer and it was too early for Maddie to be in to sort it out for me..
Mat is heading to Haydock to saddle Newtide while I am heading to Ascot to saddle Yeavering Belle, Imperial Aura and First Flow..
