Plus 10 and dry when driving in.

Thursday is our easy day, although not too easy at this time of year.

Don’t you just love visiting the dentist? Th only good news  for me was that I was able to bring my niece Clover Wootton back to Gloucestershire to stay with us for a couple of days.

Clover who has been living in India and working in Bollywood is now home for good so it was great to catch up.. the last time we saw each other was last year when she joined us (Archie and Pandora) in Sydney when I was visiting my son Harry.

We like good news and there was some yesterday filtering through about crowds being allowed back on certain racecourse.. Doncaster next month looks like being the test case after the failure of Goodwood.. although it was not Goodwood’s fault.

Last night zoom meeting with the SWRS was fun. David Bass was most enlightening. Simon Claisse was and is a class act on the screen and Hannah Hawkins was a brilliant compare and team leader.. all in all it was a fun hour.

Gillian Clough was here third lot to see her KBRP horse Does He Know.

Nick Holmes was also here third lot to see his KBRP horse Dansant Express

We have one runner today at Sedgefield.. Arthurs Sixpence heads there and for my thoughts on his chances please click here..

A man and woman were married for many years.

Whenever there was a confrontation, yelling could be heard deep into the night.

The old man would shout, "When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!"

Neighbours feared him. The old man liked the fact that he was feared.

Then one evening he died when he was 98.

After the burial, her neighbours, concerned for her, asked, "Aren't you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way out of the grave and haunt you for the rest of your life?"

The wife said,  "Let him dig.  I had him buried upside down and I know he won't ask for directions."

Todays non virus video nasty..
