27th October 2023

Plus 7 and dry but very foggy when driving in.

Never have I seen Ludlow Racecourse look so well.. so much grass and big fields..

Our day started well with a surprisingly good run from I Got Stung who finished 4th.. He really is learning.

Poor Von Hallers was so badly interfered with that she lost her jockey turning into the straight and very nearly came down.. It was a shocking piece of riding and so dangerous....Thankfully both horse and rider seemed ok after.. Well I know DB was because he rode Jeudidee in the last…

Jeudidee found the ground on the soft side for him and although he ran well to finish third he will probably have a break now for a spring/summer campaign… he has done us all proud for his first season..

Cricket..Embarrassing

Alan James was in on his way to Cheltenham to see his KBRS horses El Rio, Does He Know, Fair Frontiers, Magical Escape, Mikhailovich, Phantom Getaway and Let's Go Amigo.

John and Pat Lee were here to see their KBRS horses El Rio, Does He Know, Parc d'Amour, Fair Frontieres and Lets Go Amigo.

Paul Toplass was here to see his Imperial Racing Halligator. Martin and Sandra Steer-Fowler were in to see their horses Trelawne and Killigarth.

Jessica Watson was here to see her horse Law of Supply along with her husband, Ian and children Isobel  and Archie.

We have no runners today although we will be at Cheltenham.. There is a partneship/syndicate day and my PA Maya and syndicate manager Peter will manning the fort.. Go along and see them in the Hall Of Fame entrance

Happy birthdays to Peter Woodhall and Nicholas Jones..
