Plus 12 and cloudy when driving in.

Thursday.. our easy day.. not today.

Graham Potts was in to finish off giving the horses their flu vacinations.

Graham will be missing as from tomorrow as he is heading off to Rio; he is the Australian Event Team's Vet.

Yes it sounds fun although I am not sure that is how Graham feels about his impending 3 weeks away.. Loads of problems in the Olympic village.. stories of builders not paid and in return they have poured concrete down the loos.. thats just for starters

Today I should be at Goodwood with Keith and Liz Ellis. My annual trip has sadly been cancelled (by me). It is always one of my most enjoyable days racing.. providing I am a passenger on the way home...

There has been loads of talk about BT Broadband and its lack of speed.

We have BT Broadband in this office and trying to down load 10 photos to Photobox took just over 25 minutes; so slow.... I had 300 to download so my patience was not up to waiting the best part of 12 hours..

Good old Kerry, my PA, came to the rescue.. Kerry took my camera chip home and downloaded 300 photos in 5 minutes using her recently installed Gigaclear.. Hopefully we will have Gigaclear here by Christmas..

Good service is important and Listers in Cheltenham, where my Toyota Amazon originated from provide a great service.. Martin, who is in charge of their service department returned my car last night on his way home.. Yes good service goes a long way. Thanks.

Pippa Green via my sister sent this one over..second half..

THOSE FOUR little words ... "I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART"

A group of women were at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband.

The women were asked, "How many of you love your husband?"

All the women raised their hands.

Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?"

Some women answered today, a few yesterday, and some couldn't remember.

The women were then told to take out their cell phones and text their husband: "I love you, sweetheart ."

The women were then told to exchange phones with another person, and to read aloud the text message they received, in response.

Here are some of the replies:

7. ?!?

8. Don't beat about the bush, just tell me how much you need?

9. Am I dreaming?

10. If you don't tell me who this message is actually for, someone will die

11. I thought we agreed you wouldn't drink during the day.

12. Your mother is coming to stay with us, isn't she??
