Plus 7 and dry when driving in.

We had rain yesterday and good rain at that, but very localised.

We had 16 members of the Jockey Club's South West Racing Syndicate here second lot to see their horse Hes No Trouble and Steve Adams was also here to see his KBRP horse Silver Kayf.

The 2019/2020 officially starts tomorrow although there is evening racing at Cheltenham tonight. It is their big hunter chase meeting and it is always well supported.

The Punchestown Festival carries on today with another cracker to watch later. The Irish Champion Hurdle.

Punchestown is Ireland’s Cheltenham, but a very different meeting. Great racing although nothing like as busy as Cheltenham.

It is always a fun meeting to attend and like all these big meeting there is a select horse sale towards the later half and last nights sale did not disappoint.. 20 horses for sale and records tumbled again.. staggering..
