Plus 11 and dry when driving in..

This tough little mare has been leased by Ian and Tocky Mckie (who have retained a share) to the Belle Stars..

This another KBRP is run by Peter Kerr..

Anyway Yeavering Belle has run 3 times over hurdles and won all three.. we like that sort of record..

The result was never in doubt.. Bar the fact that she dropped the jockey David Bass on the way to the start.. yes she takes the piss out of him.. don’t we all..

We were not the only ones celebrating as Julie and David Martin and Dan Hall's Nebo won at Cork at 50/1!!

Clare and I did not attend.. Nor did any of her owners.. we had lunch with Aiden, Annabel and Olly Murphy..

There has been much talk about loss of sense and smell.. Mrs B lost hers in March and yesterday was a day when she appreciated it .. Gilbert, our new puppy, had an upset stomach which meant that when she went to let him out early yesterday morning his room was mess.. diarrhoea.. not a pretty sight or smell, but to us who have a sense of smell, not a good one either!!

Cricket.. England beaten.. For me it was a delight to sit on the sidelines on Saturday watching Archie play at Stanway.. Opposition Captain was Giles Smyly..Archie was playing for Dumbleton. who won..

Barry Geraghty has retired from race riding.. Barry some career.. He won most of the big races.. A genius in the saddle and thoroughly nice guy..

Back to today.. Monday morning and more horses returned to Thorndale..

John Perriss's Bobhopeornohope, Getaweapon, Lady Of The Night, Lots Of Luck, Rocky's Treasure, Rosmuc Relay and Penny Perriss'Wandrin Star.

Also the KBRP horse Younevercall and John and Susie Kottler and Emma Buchanan's Sea Story, Tony Solomon's First Flow, Michael and Mary Dulverton's two youngsters Sammeo and Sayadam and Julie and David Martin's and Dan Hall's Trwyn Du and Ajero.

Nick Weston who is the CEO and Nicole O'Connor, who is the Business Development Manager for Weston Aviation called in for a chat third lot.. Hopeful that I might use their Aviation services? Who knows.. somebody reading this might..?

Not sure Nicole would appreciate this..

I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull...

But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus, and it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was.

I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.

My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it.

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter ...

Either My Radiator Leaks or My Exhaust Backfires !
