Plus 11 and dry when driving in.

Bloody windy last night and we had no electricity from 7.30 until the early morning. Is this what it is going to be like when we have power surges and lights off.. the future looks bleak?

Oh we so nearly had another winner for an owner having their first runner yesterday at Southwell.

Battle Dust would have won in another stride.. Sadly for Mark and Melinda Laws the winning post came too soon.. At least they know they have a horse who looks capable of winning races..

Battle Dust will need a more galloping racecourse next time as yesterday he was on and off the bridle for most of the way.. it was an encouraging start.

We worked a few this morning and you can see a video here.

Vince Burmingham was here 3rd lot to see his string of KBRP horses… Milord, Ascotdeux Nelleie, The Grey Kayf Tara gelding (one share left), Boolavard King, Silver Eagle and Knockanrawley.

4th lot Maurice and Pim Greenaway and Roland Fox were her to see Fizzy Dancer..

Quattro are replacing the floor of our horse walker today. The surface they put down last year has not stood the test of time and as part of their guarantee they are replacing it with a different surface. Thanks.

We have one runner today at Warwick. Aliandy and David Bass pair up and for my thoughts on their chances please click here..

How is your driving as sent over by Grahame Whateley..

Ever wondered what the real difference is between Granny and Grandad?

A 5 year old Grandchild is usually taken to her Cheltenham school daily by her Grandfather.

But, when he had a bad cold his wife drove the child to school.

That night the little girl told her parents that the ride to school with Granny was very different.

"What made it different?" asked her parents.

"Gran and I didn't see a single tosser, blind bastard, foreign prick or wanker anywhere on the way to school today"
